Up to 47 acres will be preserved within the Ranch Center Neighborhood, which will preserve the agricultural uses and rustic character of the Ranch while providing a unique, regional destination as well as a focal point for the neighborhood. Visual access to the Ranch Center will be enhanced by the preservation of the primary view corridors. In addition, as buildings are adaptively reused and new buildings near the center are built, the agricultural character and presence of the ranch will be enhanced.

The Organic Farm will be a cornucopia of carefully selected rare and heirloom orchard trees, vegetables and berries, as well as beautiful gardens to stroll or relax in.

Many of the existing buildings, including the horse barns and the Ranch House will be adaptively reused, and new buildings will be built to complete the Center. The theme will be that of small, local, ag-related and artisan related uses and products. These uses may include a restaurant specializing in organic and natural foods within the Ranch House, a culinary school, a growers’ market within the barns, a wine shop

specializing in wines from local vintners, a country store that sells local products such as jams, jellies, breads and cheeses, spaces for local artists to create and display their work, live-work spaces for artisans and other neighborhood-serving retail.

The Organic Farm will also provide many spaces for passive outdoor recreation. Outdoor picnic areas will be provided, the Cedar Grove to the South of the Ranch will become a terraced park, and safe pedestrian access will be provided by pathways leading to the creek and the trails.

The Organic Farm will be home to seasonal celebrations. These events will include a Harvest Festival and Yule Festival among others.
