This 25-acre neighborhood will grow around the existing Loma Rica Lake in the southeast portion of Loma Rica. This neighborhood will focus on seasonal, recreational and cultural activities that will revolve around the new, up to 40,000 square foot lodge and “events center” that builds upon the existing historic framework of the lake, pavilion and fountain.

This resort neighborhood will seek to integrate houses and apartments in an intimately scaled network of streets and blocks surrounding the lake. Housing will be geared toward seasonal visitors and will include a variety of options, condominiums and daily and weekly rentals. Housing types will be small-scaled in nature and include single-family units, vacation cottages and apartments. Workforce housing for seasonal and year-round hotel staff will also be accommodated within the neighborhood.

The neighborhood will integrate 15 acres surrounding the lake into an interconnected network of public parks and open spaces. Also integrated into the neighborhood will be several recreational amenities: tennis, bocce, croquet, etc. to supplement swimming. A well-defined trail system will provide connections to Loma Rica Lake from the adjacent neighborhoods at Loma Rica.
