This small, 29-acre neighborhood will be located at the crossing of Brunswick Road and Idaho-Maryland Road, in close and convenient proximity to many job opportunities within Whispering Pines Business Park and Loma Rica Industrial Park. From an open space standpoint, the site is advantageously positioned between the Wolf Creek Greenway to the north and an area of serpentine soils to the south, a portion of which will be preserved.

The neighborhood will integrate a small “hamlet” of single-family housing, compatible light industrial and live-work uses, and recreational and passive open space. The heavily-treed western edge of the neighborhood along Brunswick Road will be preserved. At the southwest corner, a formal, terraced garden will capitalize on an existing bowl in the topography, providing access to the adjacent Loma Rica Lake neighborhood as well as an interpretive trail.

Woodlands Village will include single-family homes and apartments integrated with a neighborhood center and commercial incubator space.
